What is Made4Me?


Made4Me is an independent non-profit organization located in Raleigh, NC.

They work with therapists and parents of children with special needs to provide

the child with personalized adaptations (furniture and more) out of industrial cardboard

at absolutely NO cost to the child or family.



Made4Me Leadership


John Mainey is a retired Operations executive, having a 42 year career with IBM, Solection, and Flex. His positions included Vice President of Supply Chain for the Americas, Vice President of Operations, and Site General Manager for facilities in Austin, Texas, Creedmoor, North Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina.


John is a native New Yorker but lived in Austin, Texas for 18 years before moving to his current home in Wake Forest in February of 2004. He is married to wife Terri and has 3 children. He is very active in Christ our Hope PCA church, the Granville County United Way, is an Ambassador for the Chordoma Foundation, and serves as the interim Executive Director of Made4Me,Inc.


Supporting Seniors with Special Needs


Did you know that Made4Me also builds furniture and helpful contraptions to assist seniors with special needs living in the Raleigh and Wake Forest vicinity? Not only does the non-profit organization regularly assist and positively impact the lives of special needs children, but the organization is also readily available to assist seniors and adults with special needs.
